High Park, Toronto.

Melting

Some of my favorite places Henry Moore’s Large Two Forms in Grange Park, The Last Skater at the Nathan Phillips Square outdoor rink. My backyard (through the kitchen window), and more Grange Park looking toward The Art Gallery of Ontario in blue and my favorite old (Black Ash) trees. “Live with me on Earth, among red berries and the bluebirds, And leafy young twigs whispering.” - Milton Acorn

Examples from the Tanenbaum collection of photographs include works by Brassai, Man Ray, Vivian Maier, Ernest Bellocq’s series of Storyville (New Orleans) nudes, and various early anonymous daguerreotype (works on glass and copper plates), opened at Ryerson Image Centre in Toronto.

reflecting

The Beatles white album reissue paste-ups are around town. Somehow these promos - without glaring corporate logos(!), are more respectful to artists and their work. Thank you Beatles!

October walk.

My friend’s tattoos (Nikola Tesla and Emma Goldman), Ryerson U’s reflecting pool/skating rink, summer butterfly, tourists from the UK and my neighbourhood: Grange Park and Baldwin St.

Visit to Niagara.
